[A soft pause as he contemplates how to answer. When he finally speaks his voice sounds strangely...serene. He's gotten over the initial shock of his latest physical symptom - but only just. Well, enough to mask the turbulent mass of emotions within him, anyway. His voice has a slight touch of it's usual purr.]

[ Someone else could have missed that Genesis had caught him off guard, as the soft sound that escaped him could have meant any number of things; an expression of disdain, perhaps, but it was a bit too sudden, sounded a little too much like he'd bitten that last breath, and maybe too clear that it had been soft surprise, after all. He takes a moment, carefully wording his response ]

Judging by the sound, it was clear that Sephiroth had expected some type of resistance, which normally would have been the case had it not been for Genesis' jadedness. He refrains from commenting on it, and instead there's a gentle lull on his end. When he finally responds, his delivery is carefully controlled - not revealing anything in the slightest.]
