so i finished my first year of college, go me!
in other news, i'm moved in to aj's apartment (well, i guess it is both of ours) for the next couple months, where my challenge is to find a job. so far, a little bit of luck. people are hiring but i filled out those apps a little while ago and i haven't heard anything. the gas station down the street, however, is hiring, and if i was gonna get a job anywhere it would be at a gas station (i don't care how dirty it makes me seem, it's a job and i have rent and food and gas to pay for).
come august i am slated to move into a house with marissa, my buddy jeff from WOU and his girlfriend, dani. the house is amazing. two stories, three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a two car garage, a massive back yard (lucky for me, marissa likes to mow the lawn and jeff has a knack for landscaping) and a sweet kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances. i'm pretty excited.
but what am i going to do this summer? work (a lot, i hope) and play video games (WoW, specifically) and jam with ugmug. i can't find a decent fucking coffee shop in salem. none of the coffee even compares to that of the ugly mug. an off-topic subject, but stumptown coffee roasters won roaster of the year this year in "roast" magazine, and they were also named one of the top four places in the world to get a cup of coffee. how lucky we are.
well, there's the equivalent of 397 entries by me into one. i expect at least 396 comments.
