“More than likely, Gibbs thinks, he was never in love with Caitlin Todd.”

See, I personally, didn't think the death was handled that well. Or maybe I thought it was handled too well. What got to me is that there were times in Kill Ari (1,2) that I was thinking: this is a normal episode, a main character has not just died. Don't get me wrong, I'm upset that Kate died -but I love how they did it. Perfect, excellent. The follow up however? I didn't think it was the best. That's probably why I like this story so much, it shows the characters in grief a lot better. I don't particuly agree with everything (I would think Tony and Gibbs would get closer) but I still think it's a very good example of how some things should of gone.

The first replacement stayed around for longer that Gibbs thought she would, and longer than Tony would’ve liked. Sexual innuendo was tossed hard and roughly at her on a daily basis. McGee would start off sentences with “That’s not how Kate used to do it.” Abby tried to be bouncy and cheerful, but she never offered to have lunch with her or take her out drinking.
