Well... that was a fun party. I'm just so glad I attended. I have to say, it did keep me on my toes the whole time. I have to admit though... the food was pretty good.
On the other hand, I took Guy's advice and signed up for the royal army. He thought I needed a hobby, I thought I needed an excuse to stay away from home. Plus, it made the basic sword techniques I'd taught myself to be good for something. So great; I'm a knight now. High esteem, good travel, cramped quarters free rooming, and no parents to lock me up. All good.
Of course... what I didn't really expect was to be enlisted under the runt of the litter. I mean seriously... Clement? I'm supposed to guard the kid?! This is such bullshit. Of course, I guess that's what I guess for only basic sword handling skills....
Whatever, I take what I get, I guess. I guess this means I won't get to see Guy as much...
