At first, I was going to keep the bar closed the night of the king's funeral, but there were so many sad people, I had to open it as normal. Overdoing it is bad, but every once and a while, a nice cold drink can really help a person. And helping people is what the 7th Heaven is all about, so there was really no way I couldn't open the bar. Sad people need their spirits lifted!
I think the children understood why everyone was so down, too. They're all very mature. It's sort of nice to know I have at least a little bit to do with that.
One of them went to the funeral, actually! She brought me back a white rose. There must have been so many of them, since she told me that most were... burnt?
