Today was Prince Clement's wake and funeral. It's not fair that he's only three years younger than me and he's already dead; if anything, I should be the one laying my life down for the kingdom! I'm the squire! I'm going to be the knight, the fighter!

I don't think you should be talking about the knight you've been assigned to in such a manner, though. It's not polite, and hardly befitting a knight- if that's what you intend to be.
