I have a midterm tomorrow in American Civilization after the Civil War. It's something like a quarter of our grade. I am almost finished indentifying the IDs. It's only taken me three days of procrastination to finally get down and do this shit. I think it will be a fair midterm because, well, he's given us everything that will be on it. We just don't know which of what will be on it. So, that leaves me trying to contemplate what essay question I can dominate. I'm sure I'll do bad on the essay. All of my essays in history have received terrible grades. My history teacher in junior year of high school even gave me bad grades, and he wanted to sleep with me.
Today I saw My Mother is a Fish featuring the best freshman dancer at Barnard, Molly... my roommate. Awe. She rocked the casbah. It was visually appealing, but it wasn't until I got back to the room that I understand why it was called My Mother is a Fish. I don't read too many Faulker novels. The premise was so adorable though. It was three different stories of love woven together.
Right now, I'm watching the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Molly's sister is attending trying to meet her "future husband" Orlando Bloom. I hope she meets him and it's on TV so I can see the engagement live. That would just be wonderful. I'm really waiting for my RA to make pancakes at midnight. See, it's midterms week and they think that if they stuff our mouths with pancakes we'll forget about how unnormal it is that we study for hours and hours. Well, sometimes I do forget... I admit it. Plus, I had like a bite of chicken tonight because I got that one to serve my food. PLEASE.
Finally, Six Feet Under, a winner at tonight's SAG Awards, has become a new obsession of mine. Ten episodes in less than 72 hours is quite amazing. In an effort to save money and also because the second season is not available to rent, Molly and I are downloading the next season. We figure we will be up-to-date soon enough. We'll be able to watch the entire season on the comfort of our bunk beds live from my computer screen. Ahh, the life.
Ok, well, I have a midterm tomorrow. So maybe I'll get back to that.
