My life is like a game,
Like the game of Wario's Woods.
Each day is like a level,
Except the levels are randomized instead of coming in successive order of difficulty.
There are some days when there aren't very many monsters to have to sort out, and the bombs slowly come so that I can explode them.
And other days where I choose to have a few more monsters, just because I like the challenge.
And some times I just can't get it done and the tree ends up crushing me.
I like the bigger days because I get more coins at the end -- at least if I do them right.
But small days are nice too.
I guess I've kind of started to challenge myself more,
By having higher and higher levels with more creative little monsters to deal with,
Like the diagonal ones or the ones that change colors,
or the bomb ones that flash and you have to destroy them while they're flashing.
My life is like a game,
Like the game of Wario's Woods.

I spoke this poem into my cell phone on March 30, 2008. I must have been playing Wario's Woods earlier that day or that week, and it was still in my head. I started to notice the parallels between the gameplay of Wario's Woods and my own life, so I couldn't but speak it into a cell phone. Little did I realize I was writing a poem that I'd eventually post in my LJ.
Good times :)
