omg God!!! first yeah an update. thanks so much!!! Now...
omg!! you cannot leave it there, thats just mean. ANd yes i agree with Laura-the Admiral does have a twisted sense of humor...
ut i was waiting for that to happen casue now all the secets have to come out and the colonials have to...well I don't know what but they may have to do something..
“It’s entirely possible he’s taken off again in his flying saucer…” // They chose the wrong side in the French and Indian War.”
Oh, how I love you, Josiah Bartlet. ♥ I love the little bits too about the impact the colonials had on Detroit's economy and the comparison of salaries. And as always, Helo and Laura both having valid points.
I'm really sorry if this is the first/only time you've ever given that kind of feedback or it's some kind of inside joke between the two of you, but do you have any idea how useless that is as feedback? It's like only hitting the box that says "Ticky" in a poll.
Seriously, every author out there knows that anybody bothering to read the thing probably wants more or they'd have wandered off by now. It's not the sort of feedback that inspires more to be written. It doesn't take much more than a few seconds to say you loved the characterization of whomever or how well plot twist whatever was executed. At least pretend to try. Just asking more is pressure to produce without any real sign that what was provided was appreciated for the time, energy and creative effort that went into it.
freifraufischer, I am very sorry if my calls of "More, more, more" on this wonderful series put too much pressure on you or was not appreciated. I believe that the numerous comments I've left on other chapters of this story and its predecessor The Black Ships as well as the recommendations I gave on my LJ a few months back, the encouragement I've given numerous friends personally to go and read your stories, and the comment that asked if you minded if I used some of your ideas for a story I was considering writing let you know how much I appreciate the time and effort you've put into this story, its development, characterization, and execution. Furthermore, I am in a very trying time at work and in my personal life and have been skipping over many fics. However, I prioritized reading this story because I am so intrigued by it, but I'll admit that I left very quick feedback so you know I *had* written even though I didn't have much time to leave something more meaningful. Given that you let me know personally that you had posted another chapter,
( ... )
I was just going to rec this the other day to someone, but then stopped myself because I realized it had stopped in mid-progress and might never be picked up again. Oh me of little faith! :)
Am at work now, so don't have time to read this, but am looking forward to doing so when I get home.
