[1] what did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?
go to france, drive 1500 miles by myself, get a fake id

[2] did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't remember what I resolved last year, but this year they include actually recording an album's worth of material, even if it sucks, and starting a show for ATV.

[3] did anyone close to you give birth?
nope

[4] did anyone close to you die?
nope

[5] what countries did you visit?
USA, England, France, Germany, Holland

[6] what would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
a girl who actually wants to date me

[7] what date(s) from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
the halloween party with katelyn, the 90s party at yuma house

[8] what was your biggest achievement of the year?
not really screwing up at all, learning CSS

[9] what was your biggest failure?
not really accomplishing anything

[10] did you suffer any illness or injury?
I got a killer sore throat at the very beginning of the year. I couldn't even talk.

definately the ipod.

[12] whose behavior merited celebration?
Greg for being such a nice guy, Meg and Tania for being so cute.

stupid politically charged yet ignorant people

[15] what did you get really, really, really excited about?
actually talking to katelyn and jessi, and the night that i discovered that every person that I think is cool at AU is from houston and they're all friends with each other

be proactive, be more involved in some organization, make films

procrastinate, follow things that are not connected to me in any way and will never be important

spent with the family in france, mostly sleeping

only in hyperbole

none. I always come back for seconds.

degrassi

i'm not a hater.

Give Me A Break by John Stossel, Freakanomics

the polyphonic spree, but it was seriously lacking this year

a cool lamp, but then i returned it because it wouldn't fit in my room

thumbsucker? maybe there was better, i don't remember

[31] what did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
In February I went to class like regular and everyone wished me a happy birthday, and my sent me a cake that said "happy birthday ashley" and I bought myself this awesome remote control car and I got wasted and hung out in leah's room and got written up by her RA and my friends brought me balloons and leah and i made out. and i was 19.

[32] what one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
friends who involve me

[33] how would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005?
lots of different shoes, khakis, and I've gone back to dickies, a mix of t-shirts, polos, and sweaters

nothing.

john stossel

[36] what political issue stirred you the most?
eminent domain, choice voting, people blaming politicians for natural occurances, people not blaming politicians for making the government even larger and more involved and making everyone's lives harder

Hannah sometime around january/february, the Marhsall kids after they left France, adam at georgetown, and my houston pals

[38] who was the best new person you met? Katelyn, but technically i met her in '04, so probably Greg

[39] tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2005: you can't take ANYTHING seriously or else you'll just get really depressed
