Davis Trip report
So I'm finally back from Davis, CA. Got home around 9pm last night after 10 days in central Cali. That's what the cool kids call California... Cali.
It was a great and bad experience at the same time. Even though the trip was 10 days, it felt more like 3. When I left here the month was only halfway over, and it'll be gone tomorrow. That's odd. I'm supposed to be heading out there again in two weeks, but I'm not sure if that is going to happen. I've got a lot of important lab work to do here, and I'm not sure what good it would do me to head out there again.
I did learn a new type of stress, which I have not come up with a name. I was so busy that I didn't even notice I was stressed. It all blew up on my face this last Monday. That was not good, but it could have been worse. It wasn't my fault either, so I'm not going to be apologetic about it. I'll just try to learn from it.
