Moved into the apartment over this just past weekend. Saturday I had the help of Tim and Barb to move what heavy furniture I was taking - dresser, bookshelf, et al. Sunday I helped Aaron move some of his stuff.
Some time in the past eight years I have learned to drive autos with manual transmissions. While it is not always the smoothest or safest, I get from here to yonder with a minimum of fuss and thought. Dad's truck, which I drove most of the weekend, has a clutch. I noticed the fact that I'd learned to drive it by not noticing that it didn't take any special effort until after I gave the truck back.
I've finally got all of my electronica set up. No particular reason why I was avoiding it, but it took a lot longer to get around to than it usually does. Maybe I'm kicking the habit.
No stunning pictures of the weather the way stellar_dust has. Believe me when I say it was beautiful fall weather all weekend, and ugly and rainy today. It felt like half the lights in the building I work in were also off, emphasizing the dreary weather.
