School's out
I dropped all of my classes on Friday, when I got the official offer in the mail. While I have certainly dropped all of my classes before, I've never done it at the start of the semester. It feels weird to not be starting classes next week, especially with Barb and Kate already having started this term.
I feel adrift, free right now. The same sorts of undirected unknowing that I regularly feel, but with a good tinge to it rather than a bad tinge. It's still the same apathy. I have more 'vacation' between now and whenever I start work than I will in the next year. It feels no different characterized that way than how I lived the entire summer. It will be good to have focus passed down from on high.
