Oh, those could be very useful. I'd been so busy reading about the medicine they have here I completely forgot to ask for anything - I left my own stock back in my world.

Our medical technology is fairly well back home but I still gravitate towards herbs than to rely on those things.

It's just... I suppose it's not even really surprising, it happened at home, too, but... I guess I don't know what seems strange about it. It's just... something. And I don't think it's limited to humans.

The communicators have been malfunctioning lately, it seems.

I just used the human term for it because... well... most here appear to be somewhat human at least. But you're right, it's not just limited to them.

But we'll need to stay organized, I know that much. And one or two communicators behaving well aren't going to make it easier - not nearly as much as having all of them working would.

Unfortunately I don't think that having them all working right now is possible. It seems to be a problem throughout the whole compound and not just the communicators... I'm quite glad I got in my request for herbs before.
