I can hold my shapeshifting for more than a minute. A whole face. It took some practise, but I'm finally here. Nascha was impressed, so I'll take that as a sign of it working. Now, I need to work on sustaining a face for as long as possible and actually ( Read more... )

I hope that includes hair too, lest everyone is subjected to having the same button mushroom haircut.

It includes hair. Hair's a lot easier to change than a face, because hair is easier to manipulate than bone.

I like that you don't react to me saying you have button mushroom hair. Have you really become that desensitized? How upsetting.

Two years with your delightful presence will result in that, Niou. Try harder.

Ah, I miss the days when I could get an easy reaction like the one from Purple-kun when I first called him that. It was beautiful.

Mizuki-kun has a slight habit to overreact, it's not difficult to gain such reactions from him. I'm sure he would still get affronted at this point.

I've decided to call him Rainbow-paintbrush-kun. I think he'll like that more.

It's baffling.

Some people are very particular about how they are addressed as other peoples' opinions form a large portion of their personal confidence. Others, are less discerning, since other people's opinions are less damaging to them.

Humans are interesting that way.

REALLY. Tell me more about people and their interesting ways.

Actually, one of the best ways to make someone react is to compliment them, rather than insult them, because society doesn't create many acceptable ways to accept compliments. It throws many people off guard if you go and compliment people and it will put them on guard for some sort of wheedling, as many think that giving compliments mean that someone expects something in return.

Thank you. But the effect of surprise is rather ruined when I just told you that compliments create surprise. Try it on someone who isn't expecting it.
