irish be damn
i thought that i had cursed my potato plants with the irish in me. they had come down with a serious case of blight. but just this morning while preparing the ground for more cucumber plants. i dug down, thinking that i had hit some rocks, but low and behold there were potatoes in those hills. i got potatoes! i grew potatoes! it is such an incredible feeling of accomplishment.
also i graduated from my third level in my buddhist studies. only about 15 more levels to go. but i am not trying to be attached to any of it. i am just proud of myself to committing to actual study. i am going beyond lip service to a spiritual belief. i will make it to the shore soon and it feels so good.
