today in class. we watched a film that featured a naked woman who was not shaved. every time that she came on screen a guy would shout out. gross, disgusting, shave or anything to that effect. when we talked about the film. he said. it would have better if the girl had been shaved. again the teacher said nothing. what the fuck? why do i have to have a class like this every semester? i want to gouge out my eyes.
i am a paying student and i deserve a teacher who is willing to actually teach. not one who shows up and has a laissez-faire approach to the class. i am spending my money with the expectation that in class i will be given a place to learn and it is the teacher's responsibility to create an atmosphere that is conducive to learning. i mean this is is not high school and certain levels of behavior should be expected and anything less should not be tolerated.
