University is finally all sorted out. I'm doing a combined major in computer science in biology, obviously looking at going into genomics/bioinformatics. 17 hours a week of class; should be fun. My work schedule is still up in the air a bit; I'll probably come in once or twice a week, but other than that I'm going to try to get a couple of my evening classes switched to earlier periods so that I can go on-call nearly every night. Bill wanted to fob off a company desktop on me, but I told him not to bother: if he's not going to give me a laptop then I'll get one myself and just configure everything I need on it. I'm not going to be chained to a desk.

I had a conversation I was going to post up here, but a spontaneous computer restart resulted in its loss. Shame.

Life is going well, but I think I'm lonely. I've had two dreams over the past three days that had the very obvious theme of desiring companionship, and I've found myself behaving in ways that are unusual for me in the hopes of finding some. I'm not really hung up about it, but it's definitely something that I'm missing.
