It looks like I'm going to Russia this summer at the government's expense. There be some trouble with getting my passport in time for visa processing (because I decided to apply early enough that regular instead of expedited service would be just fine--go figure; I plan ahead, and look what it gets me), but I'm told this won't actually endanger my participation.
