Forget the fridge, nuke the uterus

My wife and I are unable to have kids. Unfortunately, my wife's body doesn't know that. She keeps having her monthly cycle, bleeeding, cramps, etc.  Despite not being able to have children, my wife can get pregnant.  It's just that she always miscarries and it's a miserable experience on more than one level.  Also, due to her many medicines, having a baby wouldn't result in a healthy baby.

So my wife has decided to have an ablation.  Basically they're going to insert a mesh into her uterus, radio-wave her, and remove the mesh.  It's apparently a *very* painful procedure, but she's that desperate to put an end to the bleeding. She spots every other day.  It used to be worse.  An IUD birth control went wrong and she bled every day for eight months.  At least that is over.  Oh yeah, she's going to get her tubes tied as well.

All of this is going to happen on the 9th of May.

The dreaded Sandy will be arriving on the 5th and leaving on the 19th.  Yea.  I wouldn't mind so much if she didn't constantly make it all about herself.  It will be difficult taking care of my wife, let alone the mother-in-law.  Maybe this time she'll actually help.  Hah.  Oh yes my brother how right you were.  Why did I have to get the steotypical mother-in-law?
