I got a package from Jay and Mary.
That was cool. In it I got some cookies, a wall hanging that I haven't read yet, and another scarf. As nice as I think it is that Mary keeps making me scarves, it's one of the most impractical gifts I continue to receive. I mean, I live in sunny southern california, and even if I didn't, I don't wear scarves. I wore one of them for red ribbon week last year, but I think that's the only time I have. Oh well, it's still nice, even though I've got about half a dozen scarves I don't wear now. I used to have a bedpost dedicated to them, when I lived at mom's. Now I have a hanger in my closet dedicated to them. I need to remember to write them a letter back, but for now, I'm gonna have a cookie and go to bed. The rest I'll save for the composition of my letter. Motivation.
