This will be a list updated as and when I find more (Gotti, you're invited to contribute too!). Thanks, CLP, for making these online and free!
a) The Lady Grace Cavendish mysteries. Set in the times of Q.Elizabeth I and narrated by the 12-year old protagonist, this series is fast becoming my fallback during sleeping nights. It's entertaining, concise and well-written.
b) Elizabeth Crawford mysteries, set in the time of WWI (more on this here:
http://stixnixpix.blogspot.com/2013/03/at-long-lasta-couple-of-great-books.htmlYes. It's a shameless advertisement for my other blog)
c) Septimus Heap series. Latest discovery. Pretty nice. Have read Part I. Will proceed once my laptop comes back after repairs- a Macbook Pro, cost more than $1500 and conked out after 5 months. Apple, you surprise me.
