I'm enjoying the story very much so far :-) and just found a bit where you suddenly switched the tense, which is kind of confusing LOL
Jared arched his eyebrows. “Energy through osmosis?”
Jensen arched an eyebrow. “When did you start using big words?”
Jared broke off another piece of the chocolate bar and shoved it into Jensen's mouth. “Don't be a dick.” He stood up, stepped over the small table and sat down on the couch next to Jensen. He sat close, arm resting against Jensen's, thighs touching, but careful of the raw side. He picked the ice pack up, rested it against the angry flesh and then settled back. Jensen tilted to the right a little, pressing against him.
Jared slipped an arm over Jensen's shoulder, bracing his head away from the wall. “The thing about being tall - and I know you would have trouble understanding, but--”
Jensen smacked his thigh, and then left his hand there, knuckles curling against the tip of his kneecap.
Jared grinned. “The thing is, that standing in front of a painting is kind of rude, seeing as how you block the whole thing from view. So when I saw that crowd around the Mona Lisa, man, I didn't even try. My mama raised me better than that.”
Jensen smiled, but he didn't open his eyes. Jared ran his thumbs over the curve of Jensen's shoulder, the muscle slowly giving way and loosening under his touch. “Figure tomorrow I'll go check out the Eiffel Tower. Can't block that from view, now can I?”
