Most probably one of the best Dean/Cas I've read since entering this fandom. This fic is absolutely brilliant in its brutality, full of hurt and not much comfort. The way Cas slips more and more into humanity is heartbreaking and how Dean just lets it all happen, leaving them both broken beyond repair and with nothing left to lose.
The author really succeeds in creating the right kind of atmosphere, right down to the details of Cas' loaylty and his boundless love for Dean and Dean's hatred that will eventually burn down all that Cas is, all that he could have become and leaves the reader flawlessly in a place where the show continued their story.
The Waste Land (1/11)

Dean gets sent back to the future where he learns that there might be some things worth saving there after all.
Generally, I love everything this author writes and this isn't an exception. There are so many brilliant things I could say about The Waste Land. Chuck's books. Dean's relentlessness not to let Cas go, Dean's need to save him, again and again. Cas' desperation and his incompleteness and the way he can't handle feelings anymore. The end is so delicious, in many ways.
Salvation (With a Few Detours Along the Way)

How it all went wrong, and eventually got better.
I adore this fic and its hopefulness for a better tomorrow, how the author, step by painful step leads us to the end of The End and makes it all better, not without few good scares, though. Cas' love for Dean really shines through and that is the salvation for them both. Very enjoyable to read.
