A lovely snapshot of the in-between times that also provides some wonderful character insight. I love fics where Castiel helps Dean to deal with his nightmares, and the slightly dysfunctional nature of their relationship as it's portrayed here really appeals to me.

A fabulous tag to one of my favourite episodes that speaks volumes about both Dean and Castiel's respective headspaces at this point in the canon timeline. The characterisations in this are spot-on and the subtlety of the emotion is used to very powerful effect.
