Color me surprised. I just happened to stumble upon this group. And then, to my utter shock, I found one of my fics listed. Thank you very much for that. Especially for this particular story. It's one of my personal favs, but it doesn't get nearly enough love.
Ever notice how readers never seem to appreciate what your favorites? A lot of writers I talk to have a disconnect there. I would hazard to guess that this fic doesn't work for newcomers to the Trek franchise... but OH, how it works for my TNG fangirl. ^_^
I have noticed that trend. None of my personal favs receive much attention from anyone but me it seems. Also, I grew up on TNG and Voyager. Not so much DS9. We didn't get that one where I lived.

PS Thanks for the rec. I do appreciate it. I found several other good stories when I was looking through. I would guess that they were all good, but a few were in fandoms I don't follow.
DS9 was my Trek... and it's still the franchise's orphan since people either loved it or refuse to acknowledge it.
I tend to be all over the board with fandoms - this is primarily animanga since there's a dearth of reccers for it, but I can't resist when I see sparkly fic. Glad you found a couple pieces worth your time.
