Squeeing: Not necessarily the most original concept (Sam and Dean growing up, with an essay assignment as the main framing device of the plot), but really well done. This story tells a lot about the way the Winchesters operated during Sam's teens, and I really like the portrayal of all three.
Excerpt: “Write a compare/contrast essay.” The class groaned and the teacher smiled. “But this time, I want something a little different from you, class.” The groan grew louder. “I want you to compare and contrast two of your family members.”
