Claim: House/Wilson
Title: TV Doctors
Author: nualanightbloom
Characters: House, Wilson
Prompt: #15. Crack!fic
Rating: PG-13
Length: Medium
Brief summary: House gets hooked on a new TV show about a genius, misanthropic doctor and his startlingly young oncologist friend. Much meta and pre-slash ensues. Just plain funny, in a deliciously meta way.
Excerpt:
"Something new," House replied, masticating a handful of candies with audible enjoyment. "It's set at a teaching hospital. These doctors figure out a different baffling case each week."
"Oh? Sounds like it should be right up your alley."
House snorted. "It's complete bullshit. Each episode, they try out three wrong diagnoses, then miraculously hit on the right one just as the patient's about to kick it. And the astounding diagnosis conveniently explains all the symptoms and is always immediately treatable. And the treatment works like a charm every time. I wish all my cases were like that."
Wilson looked slightly askance at House, but wisely decided to keep his peace.
"Plus the head doctor's a total asshole."
Wilson grinned. "Well, I hate to say 'takes one to know one,' but…"

Title: ‘Towards an Understanding of the Catabolic Nature of the Human Male’
Author: topaz_eyes
Characters: House, Wilson, Cuddy, OCs, the Ducklings (mentioned)
Prompt: #16. Teamwork
Rating: NC-17
Length: Long (almost epic)
Brief summary: It is the Victorian times, and seasoned doctor House has just met new, young, gynecologist James Wilson. And he has a new theory to test regarding the nature of the female hysterical paroxysm, which he is eager to test out - or, rather, have Wilson test out on him. A wonderful fic that seamlessly mixes the AU setting with canon.
Excerpt:
Doctor Gregory House, renowned physician and ranking professor of medical philosophy at the College of New Jersey in Princeton, took notice of the newly arrived doctor almost immediately after he set up business in the neat brownstone district of the town. Normally House paid no heed to new arrivals, especially well-heeled society newcomers, but the new physician's office was on his way to the campus theater where he gave his lectures (when he deigned to hold them, that is). Though, to tell the truth, it was the glint of the brass plaque on the front door that caught his eye.
House used his cane to maneuver the two steps to the door. There he read the carefully-engraved plaque: "Doctor James E. Wilson, Specialist in Female Disorders with Particular Attention to Hysteria and Neurasthenia."
He scoffed, amused: 'Particular Attention,' indeed. Still, if a man chose this particular specialty of gynecology, it would certainly be interesting to get acquainted with him. At least until he became bored with the man, of course. Yes--a call was certainly in order.
Let us see what we are in for, he thought.
