It's just dawning on me that Raoul and Christine's children always have the same names in each of her stories, even though the fics can be read independently. Delayed reaction on my part! Still, it helps to create a wonderful tapestry across her writing. My only warning is if you read this story, you just might melt into a pile of goo!

There's always a sensual quality to her writing and an attention to historic detail. Better than most historic fiction, she actually makes the reader "feel" like she's a part of the Nineteenth Century atmosphere. It's a hallmark of her POTO writings.
