If you have steep base curve to your contact lenses you shouldn't sleep in them. Ever. No matter what the ads all say about wearing them for a week and then disposing of them. They cut off the oxygen to your cornea. When you take them out every night your cornea gets a chance to breath.

i can go four or five months without even taking mine out for a minute. i swim in them, sleep in them, night after night after night with no problems. i've been doing this for years. i love doing this.
