I hear that song everyday and sing to it. I pretty much just sing the chorus since I don't know the rest of the song. I do now, though. Thanks. [laughs]
I'm going to go see my boys practice tomorrow. I'll get to push my way through the crowd to the glass. I'm taking off work just to go. I'm a loser.

...and some other stuff. My first Blackhawks fan club newsletter came today...full of neat info, a special promo to get the cheapass $15 seats for $8 by presenting your college ID at the box office, a charity dinner with T-Bo out in Schaumburg, and an upcoming chat.
If you noticed my away message last night, it was sort of an homage to your: "bedtime. fuck me." But after a hard-fought and pretty solid performance in net (against the Wingdings) from a guy making his second NHL start ending up in an OT loss, mine read: "bedtime. goddamn red wings."
Berlin's "Metro"...I've gone from vaguely knowing of the original...to bouncing around like an idiot to the System of a Down version...to bouncing around like an idiot 'cause it's goofy 80s...to actually reading the lyrics and being like, "wow. that's hard." I was bored in my first day of Advanced Computer Imaging when I posted this.
And no, you're not a big loser. jerichoholic419 is pretty in with her team...even if it's the friggin' Hurricanes. ;P I should start making little voyages to see the 'Hawks

What System of the Down covered it? I knew the Anix did(a demo I believe), but I didn't know SOTD did.. strange.
Yeah but I need the hours. My last day is next tuesday. After that I'm jobless. Ha. I have bills to pay. So, yes I AM an idiot. ;c) Thanks for the positivity though. You rule!
80's music has got to be the best music ever. I mean really. I'm sure people will disagree, but most bands these days ARE totally influenced by it in all ways. I know they want to go back to the roots, but 80's paved the way for alot of music today. Which is kinda sad because music these days is awful. I wish I was old enough to enjoy the music then better. I remember sitting in front of the tv when I was 6 or 7 watching Duran Duran videos. Very nostalgic.
Hurricanes? Ew.
Did I ever tell you I got a Happy Holidays card from Mike Modano? [laughs] I guess that's the thanks I get for forking over 50 bucks to join the fan club. I mainly did it to keep up with appereances supposedly not known to the general public. Yeah right. I did however got some free stuff out of it. I can't complain too much.
Duran Duran...nice. I believe I have Rio on vinyl somewhere. I went through a decent chunk of junior and senior year assembling a collection of music that just sounds better on vinyl. The hisses and pops just add something in ambience. Led Zep IV, Skynyrd's "Pronounced" (with "Free Bird"), "Rio", "Layla", and the Rocky Horror soundtrack being examples of this phenomena.
Seriously? Like signed by Modano and everything? That's pretty cool for them to do that for the fan club...and all Atlanta could do would be to give their fanclub members a Christmas card signed not with ink but in the tears of Byron Dafoe.
1. found out last night Fleury hosts a charity golf tourney up in Canadia in the off season. My best friend here on campus has the disease the charity golf tourney benefits. I know you never liked him and never will, but I'm kinda surprised (?) that of all the possible things for him to raise money for, it's kinda rare (for college age kids anyway) and I'm pretty close to someone who has it

I'm sure the signature is a copy, but it's the thought that counts. In reality I was a name on a mailing list. :c)
What? Fluery has a heart? I'm shock.
What disease is it?
