So, I was reading Lucy's post, and I though, hey, I should make one of those!! So I am. Also, I need to think of ideas for a spanish poster I have to do. How the hell do you say, "I am thankful for" in Spanish? Must go look that up.....
Anyways here we go! Come on the magical (mystery) tour. (I should go listen to that...)
Okay, listening to it now.
I'm thankful for my family. My daddy and mom, and my sister and her sons, and all my aunties and uncles, and my grandparents, and.... that's all I can think of!
I'm thankful for my friends: Caro, even though I don't see her that awesome, is always my cold buddy and can you say MONGOLIA! ? Rosie, for her funny jokes and the fact that she always expresses herself. Jasmine, because she and I laugh together, joke around, and can still be serious, she makes me laugh out loud or burst, I love the time we spend together. Shea, I miss you, and I enjoy your talent and how you're there. Lucy, I love the fact that you let me make fun of you and you know I'm joking, I love biology, I love how you like to talk to Sam just as much as I do ;) and the fact that you were my second trueest bestest friend I made on my own, and that you're still here, and I love you because you let me tell you the marine thing without being disgusted, but rather, laughing, and I am thankful for the fact that you kept the rest of that conversation quiet about the, well... yeah. Livi, I love how you're hyper, your interest in manga/anime, and that you're a very pervy lady. Speaking of pervy ladies, Kirah my dear, I'm so glad I met you, I've only known a few people who closely parallel my personality (Lucy's the other one) and I enjoy hearing everything that comes out of your mouth; we will got to the UW and be doctors together!!!! Lisa, Lisa lisa lisa, the day I went to Washington was a changing point in my life, particularily because I met you, the first true best friend I ever made, and my life would be weird and sad without you. Over the years, we've become so close, we understand each other and don't need to worry about offending each other, and that makes me happy. You truly are a part of my family. Happy birthday by the way!!!! A big 16, that means we've known each other for almost eight years. can you believe it!? Seamus, yes, I'm even thankful for you too, because while you're a bastard to me and in general, I'm a bitch sometimes to you and you help keep me in check. I guess you're the bastard to my bitch?? xDDDD
I love you all, you're the best friends I could ever have, and I dunno, it's great.
Here are some other people I'm thankful for:
Kevin, I'm glad we're on speaking terms again, you have no idea how much it meant to me when you told me happy early birthday after around a year of not speaking to me that much. thank you.
Nick, I think you're a great friend, it's cool that what started out as two people suffering through a class with Mrs. Dower has turned into a neat friendship, you're cool, but you're a nerd for writing your english paper about bigfoot. xDD But nerds are cooler than cool, and I and pretty much everyone else I know is a nerd so it's okay. And on the down low, while I think you are very hot and everyone else I know who's seen you agrees, I'd rather spend a long time being friends with you than a short time liking you. :)
Dannielle, you make english and lunch enjoyable, and I'm glad we've been able to keep up our friendship from seventh grade and from eighth grade spanish.
Great teachers like Eme, Ms. Lofton, and Mulkins make the subjects enjoyable and I honestly feel I will walk away from this year with something in each class, and knowledge to boot!
I'm thankful for my loverly laptop, because otherwise I'd be screwed.
I'm thankful for ginger ale, but not having to go get it.
I'm thankful I now have some direction in my life.
I'm thankful for music, for my parents introducing me to music while in the womb (I really loved the Metallica concert xD) and especially daddy for not being afraid to turn the speakers full blast while I was a child. I love music! Thankful for: The Beatles, Alice in Chains, Slayer, Neko Case, Silversun Pickups, Goodness, ELO, The Doors, and Selena, all my favorites.
I'm thankful for my happy songs: The Locomotion (Grand Funk Railroad), Los Vargos (Green Apple Quick Step), Evil Woman/Livin' Thing/Strange Magic/Turn to Stone (ELO), Big Empty (Stone Temple Pilots), That Teenage Feeling (Neko Case) Little Lover's So Polite/Lazy Eye (Silversun Pickups), Take the Money and Run (Steve Miller Band), I Want Candy, Superwise/Wicked Eye (Goodness), tired of being alone (Al Green) and countless others I can't think of right now!
I'm thankful for the warm sun and for the invention of heaters. And the fact that I don't live in a nudist colony otherwise I'd be a popsicle at the moment.
I'm thankful for books, libraries, Borders and Barnes & Nobles, and the authors who wrote them.
I'm thankful for makeup, conditioner, and sturdy hair ties.
Television and the good programs out there
My kitty cats (topaz, Spooky, Petey, Sparkle, and, yes, even Whiskers.)
Heshki the best German Shepard in the whole fucking world (RIP)
I can't think of anything else at the moment and I'm afraid that I was rambling and loving everything. So, yeah, Thanksgiving post.
