Hibari wasn't actually going to break stuff - why would he, when he kinda had to buy things this time? The man picked out a carton of eggs, checked his list, and headed continued over to the other section for the dairy products. Cheese. He hadn't eaten that in a while with anything.

"Boxing? I'm afraid I don't have an interest." Kusakabe shifted around, attempting to use his considerably-sized pompadour to obstruct Ryohei's view of Hibari. "...So what else are you looking for, Sasagawa-san?"

Ryohei smoothly ducked under the mass of magical hair and proceeded down the shelf. "Proteins!" he replied cheerfully, "And you should totally get into boxing! IT IS THE BEST THING EVER!"

So amazingly persistent! derridamustdie February 24 2009, 13:14:12 UTC
Cheese secured, and a final look at the list revealed that he had nothing else to buy. Hibari stifled a yawn, and puttered off to the cashier.

...Yes, he knew Ryohei was coming towards him, but he was rapidly discovering that it was kind of useless to fight it.

"Like meat? Meat is the other way," Kusakabe pointed out helpfully, moving towards the cashier himself.

"No, not meat!" Ryohei protested, appalled. "Protein bars, like those!" he said, pointing right at Hibari and past the guy's shoulder. Oh, the proteins were at the cashier already. REALLY CONVENIENT! Cheerfully, he made a beeline for Hibari, armed with his three cartons of milk.

SO EXTREME. D: derridamustdie February 24 2009, 13:41:59 UTC
And, without even looking, Hibari snatched up a few and held them up, over his shoulder, in Ryohei's direction.

He didn't even sigh. Maybe he was getting better at this. That headache wasn't going to go away anytime soon though.

Letting out a long sigh, Kusakabe chose the nearest cashier, glaring a few people out of the queue. He paid quickly (buying some extra asprin for his boss's obvious Ryohei-induced migraine)and strode back towards Hibari, deciding that he would bodily remove Ryohei if it came to that.

"Thanks!" he cheered, taking the proteins offered to him and dropping them in the basket. And then when Hibari moved forward the cashier, he grabbed a few more. Ignoring the concept of personal space, he peered over Hibari's shoulder at his own purchases.

"Hahaha, this is what you're eating on your break? Speaking, how's break?"

Too. Damned. Close.

"...My break is just fine."

"Ah, Kyo-san! Let me handle the purchases-- I'll drop everything at your apartment later," Kusakabe cut in,hopefully stopping any bloodshed. He smiled at Ryohei, although it was a little strained. "Heading back to the office later, Sasagawa-san?"

Stepping aside to let Kusakabe deal with whatever poor thing Hibari bought, Ryohei only blinked and grinned. "Yeah! Now, actually," he added as he looked at his watch. "Oh, crap, I'm late!"

And then because he was Ryohei, he started jogging in place as if it would actually help speed up time.

The only indication that Hibari gave of hearing Kusakabe was a slight incline of his head and a sharp, irritated gesture with his hands.

"Keys."

Kusakabe could take a taxi or something. He wanted his car back.

Dutifully, Kusakabe handed over the keys to the black Ferrari. "It's in the parking lot at the back." Turning to Ryohei, he said, "It should be fine, you're not very late."

"But I will be!" he protested, dumping his purchases to pay. "I have to fix my clothes and all!"

And then, because Hibari was always relevant to interests: "Is Kyo-chan's car fixed?"

"Yes it is."

And Hibari was already heading for the door. He could always contact Kusakabe later or something.
