Satisfied with his prank, Ryohei pocketed the other envelop (after 'accidentally' showing it's far larger content) and grinned innocently. "Happy New Year, baby cow!"

It was very, very hard to keep his laugh contained!

"Your otoshidama is a lie," Lambo sobbed. "A lie!" He batted (ineffectually) at Ryohei's shoulders, because seeing the money he could've gotten was even worse!

"You still get something!" the boxer laughed, ruffling Lambo's hair in a manly, fond way. "That's what you get when you're greedy! I bet you tried to get money from my landlady, too!" Not that she would have given him any. She was a dictator with money.

"Oh, hey, do you want to come with? Imma seeing Li later!"

"Lambo wasn't greedy, Lambo was tricked! And your landlady is stingy, just like you!" Lambo harrumphed and waved Ryohei's hand away, then carefully began to fix his hair. He brightened a little at the mention of Lissuria. Surely he'd be more generous? "Un, Lambo will go!"

Puttering around the house, Ryohei turned the heater on and plopped a heavy jacket on Lambo's unfortunate hair to keep him warm in the mean time. "Lambo was very greedy! And my landlady is nice."

A quick check of the time told him how long they'd be stuck at his place. "We'll leave in a few hours. Do you wanna use the computer?"

Lambo made small sound of frustration and tugged the jacket down to his shoulders, saying grumpily, "It's a normal reaction to pick the bigger one! And if she were, she would've given Lambo otoshidama, too!"

He perked up at Ryohei's offer and accepted immediately. Payback time.

"If you were younger, she would have. Maybe!"

He led the way to his room where the computer was. After logging into his desktop, Ryohei let Lambo take reins on the contraption and sat down on his bed. It was starting to warm up, so he took his thick sweater off.

"She should have anyway!" Lambo was pleased to discover that Ryohei had left most of his accounts logged in; it made things much, much easier for what he was planning.

Plopping down on his back, Ryohei laughed up at the ceiling and very nearly tossed a pillow at the back of Lambo's fluffy head. "Hahaha, silly cow! If she gave you money, she'd make you shovel the yard with a spoon!"

Unknown to Ryohei, his accounts were already at the mercy of the beast!

Lambo was busy and only halfheartedly listening to Ryohei's teasing. "It doesn't work like that!" he countered. "If you have to do errands in exchange, it isn't otoshidama at all, it's child labor!"
