"Italian," Fuuta replied, still half-dazed from the shout. "Thank you." He pocketed the phone Ryohei held out to him and reached to straighten his scarf - only that he forgot he wasn't wearing one today. Fuuta made a mental note to leave a spare one in the office from now on.

"I'm fine with anything though," he said, walking towards the lobby doors. "What do you normally have for lunch around here?"

Ryohei trotted after him like a puppy, pleased that Fuuta at least already had preferences. It was really confusing when they left the decisions to him, because they either didn't agree later on, or ended starving. "I don't really eat much. Boxing diet!"

Once they were through the door, he made a sweeping gesture with a hand. "If you want cheap, head left." Where the mall was. "If you're fine with spending a few extra hundred yen for better food, go right." Along the sides of the street were various food establishments, some seedy looking, though most of them were quite nice. "If you go 'round two blocks more, there're lots of expensive places."

Expensive? Fuuta wasn't really hungry but he knew better than to skip a meal or two. "Cheap is fine," he said, steering left. "I'll just have something light. And you're a boxer?"

Did boxers shout? Fuuta couldn't remember.

He nodded, "Yeah, Imma pro. With a title and everything!" he said proudly, unashamed. Ryohei led the way to the (very loud and crowded) mall, sidestepping slush here and there. "If you go further down the road past the mall, there are ramen stalls and other stands." Sort of like streetfood, by what he remembered Americans called them. "They're cheaper, but they're kinda for snacks."

He couldn't recall if the mall had Italian stuff in it. Shrugging to himself, Ryohei strode to the four-floor building, assuming that Fuuta was right with him.

Fuuta was about to say the snacks would be fine but Ryohei walked right into the mall and so he followed, trying not to skitter on the pavement. His mother had insisted on him wearing the new Ferragamo shoes she'd ordered for him but the problem with the shoes - or with anything she ordered for him actually - was that there didn't seem to be much of a sole. It was just nice to look at and if Fuuta wasn't careful, he was going to slip and land hard on his ass.

"Sasagawa-san," he said, trying to keep up with the boxer amidst the throng of people. "Have you met Sawada-san before?"

"Tsuna?" Ryohei (sort of) echoed. "Yeah, course! He's my adopted little brother, only without papers. Why?"

Right. Inside the mall. This was a little less familiar to him. The only thing he went to the mall for was to buy sports stuff, supplies, flowers, and some clothes. Looking around, he eyed the different fastfood places flashing their (UNHEALTHY!) wares at him. "Huh."

"I haven't," announced Fuuta somewhat cheerfully as he headed for the least crowded fast food place he could see. Perhaps he'd do a takeaway since he really wasn't that hungry - he just wanted to see the place and stretch his legs a little. And he had to be careful, he just nearly slipped on the mall's polished floor. "What sort of person is he?"

Huh. This Fuuta kid really walked funny. Vaguely, Ryohei wondered if he was sick or something, or maybe he wanted to go to the toilet? Though if he did, he'd say so, right? Right! "Tsuna's nice! A very kind person, although he doesn't think he's as awesome as we think he is."

And many more things. Some of them hard to explain without sounding girly about it. "He's sweet!" Like that. Oh, well. Ryohei pointed out a fastfood chain with what he assumed as Italian food.

The Italian place was slightly less crowded than the rest so Fuuta walked in and joined the shortest queue. It moved rather quickly - well, it'd better, considering it was fast food - and he placed his order, tapping his foot softly as he waited at the side.

And then his mind registered the last bit of what Ryohei had said. "He's...sweet?" Charismatic, charming, enigmatic - these were all the things Fuuta expected to hear and sweet...was a little off, to put it mildly. "And I hope you don't mind if I just order the food to go, Sasagawa-san."

"Go ahead," Ryohei answered absently. "I bring my lunch with me coz of the strict diet." And considering how strict it was, sometimes it was surprising that he could bring anything to eat at all. "And Tsuna IS sweet!"

Okey, so maybe that was just a little too girly. He watched as Fuuta's order arrived, taking the time to think of an explanation. "More like, he's very uh, considerate?"

"Is he." Fuuta was properly amused now because he had never, in his life, heard of a boss who was sweet. Unless it was a woma-- No, they were never sweet.

He grabbed the package the fast food worker held out to him and thanked the boy, before heading out of the outlet. "Which way is the mall exit, Sasagawa-san?"

And here we begin! extremeonwheels January 5 2009, 14:58:00 UTC
"Here!" Ryohei turned to a large mall corridor, making a beeline for the mall entrance. It had started snowing a little outside; the boxer adjusted the scarf around his neck and shoved his hands into his jacket pockets. He thought of asking if Fuuta was all right, but it was just a short walk back, anyway.
