It was still snowing and if he could help it, Marmon would have rather not venture outside. But he could not, which explained why he was now trekking through the cold with snow swirling around him. He grumpily made his way through the crowd of Christmas shoppers. All this excess happy because of the holidays was annoying him. Finally reaching his destination, he turned into the small shop.
It was dim inside and the shelves that lined the walls of the store were crammed with all sorts of pet items, from food to toys to cushions for them to sleep on. The pet store was small and family owned and while their prices were higher than those of the larger chain stores, Marmon preferred them. He was willing to sacrifice some of his money on Phantasma. Besides, this was where he bought his pet after all. Thankfully, the shop was mostly empty. Marmon navigated himself around cages of small rodents towards the back where a line of aquariums stood. He only needed to buy crickets for Phantasma and he could just ask an employee of the store to get them for him, but he always liked to look at the frogs before he left.
