WHO: Tsuna and Mukuro WHAT: Resolving some issues or at least attempting to WHERE: Photo shoot studio WHEN: 7 Dec, Sunday (after the photo shoot) RATING: PG WARNING(s): Er...
Momentarily he had forgotten about Mukuro, his presence had become almost natural and he hadn't noticed his discomfort or anything. Tsuna blamed himself for being tactless and quickly tried to cover up his lack of sensitivity.
"Oh um... I err... thanks for coming. I... really appreciate it. I mean... I didn't expect... you..." he stumbled with the words, placing laptop on the floor, getting ready to send Mukuro off. I guess. I don't know. Why are you always running away? But he couldn't bring himself to ask. They had reconciled, kind of.. and this forced peace was still a ceasefire of some sort.
Fumbling, he squinted at the outline of the door and tried to side step any obstacle.
A short chuckle escaped at the sudden change in Tsuna. Mukuro would probably never figure out how the other was able to jump around like that, and maybe deep down, he didn't want to. At least, he would stop trying to force the understanding. The manager had a feeling that with this particular person, letting things go naturally was the better way to go.
"It's not a problem. I guess you could say that coming here and being a part of the shoot is part of my apology to you," Mukuro admitted, expression turning slightly sheepish. He still wasn't sure of all the things he was probably apologizing for, but he was fine with knowing that he did voice his faults to some degree. Despite the niggling feeling of dissatisfaction, he would be okay with just this. If Tsuna didn't say anything about it, then neither would he. Bringing up things, even if they were unresolved, would only burn the pot more than it already was.
Oh. You had to bring it up didn't you? Tsuna sighed mentally. He hated dealing with his problems, they were easier when on someone else, like Hibari-san, he thought sadly. He stopped in mid step, turning to face him.
"What am I forgiving? Tell me specifically. No more word games okay?" Tsuna begged with his eyes, hoping to get things clear once and for all, even if it hurt.
you don't know how rough this was for him. orzmanipulaterDecember 9 2008, 06:01:20 UTC
Dealing with the request had been a lot more easier when it was just black and white text on a screen. There wasn't much emphasis on the words that being in person could bring with the tone of voice and expression on the face. And facing Tsuna now... Yes, there was no doubt that going face-to-face was more difficult.
"Fine, no more word games," Mukuro conceded with a tired sigh. It was tough fighting against someone who was the epitome of emotions. He glanced off to the side, not being able to fully handle that look in Tsuna's eyes. "I'll be honest and admit that I'm not sure of all the things that I'm apologizing for. I just... have a feeling that I caused you some kind of trouble and with me being the person I am, it's very likely. Skylark would definitely vouch for me," he said, a hollow laugh following after.
no i don't and you have no idea how painful it is for me/27 to deal with 59 and 69xx100dontkillmeDecember 9 2008, 15:37:49 UTC
"You don't know?" The words flew out of his mouth unchecked and he quickly clapped his hands over his mouth. Oh great dame Tsuna. Insert foot in mouth again. As usual. Nothing new here. He knew it must have been tough on the manager to come to terms with, what more expressing it, face to face. Tsuna appreciated honesty, it made things easier to understand, less confusing.
"I mean um... I don't think you caused me any trouble. Nothing I can't handle. I just... don't know why you're treating me like this? Did I... do something wrong? I err... I'm a little slow on the uptake sometimes..." He pursed his lips, considering how honest he was with that declaration.
"Okay. Make that very slow on the uptake most of the time alright?" He sighed.
well, hopefully this thing will get resolved. lolmanipulaterDecember 9 2008, 15:52:23 UTC
A hollow chuckle as he raked a hand through his blue hair. He'd have to brush it and clip it back properly later on.
Mukuro let a wry smile form on his lips. "Nothing wrong, per se. At least probably not in the sense that you're thinking about. I just... haven't met someone who's confused me as much as you have. So simple, yet so complex," he confessed, still not meeting Tsuna's gaze. He already felt like a vulnerable child like this; meeting that gaze head on would make him feel even more so. "The contradiction confuses me and I guess that's why I've been so... hostile with you."
Never before had the manager just let out how he was feeling like he was right now with someone he didn't know on a very personal level. And he could count on one finger the number of people who were in that bubble of intimacy. If he was blurting out all of this, wasn't he risking bringing in another person?
it betterrrrrrrrrrrr flings snow at 69xx100dontkillmeDecember 9 2008, 15:58:09 UTC
"You're hostile to people who confuse you?" Tsuna asked without thinking again. Oh foot in mouth disease go away. He threw the other an apologetic look, cuffing the back of his hair in attempt to beat some sense into self. Focus. But that was kind of hard to do with the dying light.
oi... no flinging snow. D<manipulaterDecember 9 2008, 16:02:54 UTC
Mukuro hummed in thought. "Perhaps 'hostile' is too strong of a word to use. It's more like... keeping people at a distance until I can figure things out for myself. That way, they don't confuse me anymore than they already do," he replied, not caring anymore about what he was saying. Things needed to get sorted out sometime, and the sooner the better. He just hoped that Tsuna would give him more questions than answers.
lol fail tag orzmanipulaterDecember 9 2008, 16:16:05 UTC
"Because that's not in my nature," Mukuro reasoned, or tried to reason. "I observe and make assumptions. When the time comes, I call out those assumptions."
That was how he always did things, ever since he'd been a child. Having a keen eye had been the first step in him learning how to manipulate people later on in his life. And that first step had saved his life more times than not.
"But making assumptions mean you're second guessing someone isn't it?" Tsuna asked, squinting to better see Mukuro. And wrong assumptions about people is just... not very nice. At least in the brunette's opinion.
69 playing with his hair... why can i see it? lolmanipulaterDecember 9 2008, 16:31:38 UTC
"Depends on what kind of assumptions I come up with. Either way, most of the time I keep them to myself until I see that my assumptions are made mostly correct."
Mukuro frowned when he felt a snag in his hair. Normally he would ignore it, but this one was making his scalp itch a little. Reaching back, he unclasped the clip from his hair to deal with it, letting his long blue hair move freely. As he played with the knot of hair to get it untangled, the manager glanced over at Tsuna in the now dim lighting.
"Well, at least now you know." For the most part anyway.
now who's tempting who? lol write fic pls bbxx100dontkillmeDecember 9 2008, 16:37:42 UTC
"What kind of... What kind of assumptions have you made about me?"
He couldn't help asking nor keep that hopeful edge in his voice. Tsuna was curious about the thoughts Mukuro had of him, what impressions and what had come true or not. He wanted to know but his train of thoughts derailed when he saw the ponytail of Mukuro come free. It was... really long, like a girl's except... prettier? The brunette wasn't sure what to do but he ran, tripped and banged his knee against the dressing area where he knew the hairstylist had stashed his kit. And found it, a hair brush.
"Um... do you want me to help or...?" He offered the comb to the manager.
eehhh... orzmanipulaterDecember 9 2008, 16:46:18 UTC
Mukuro had opened his mouth to answer Tsuna's inquiry but was a little startled when the other suddenly stood up and dash off before quickly coming back with a brush in his hand. He blinked at the offer before an amused smile appeared on his lips. When had been the last time someone had combed his hair for him? Especially recently with it being so long now?
"Only if you want to," he said, leaving it up to Tsuna. He didn't mind either way. And at least this would be a small detour from the initial question that the younger man had posed. Maybe.
Tsuna blinked at the answer, he hadn't been expecting that. For someone who was so adamant on pushing him away only a moment ago, Mukuro was letting him into his circle again. It confused him in a good way and he never let up a chance to help anyone. He did not consider for a moment that he might be screwing it up more than making it good. Tsuna beamed, flicking a solitary, low-hanging light-bulb on. It was the kind of lights he used for special effects but it would do. Better now but err... woah that's a big tangle.
Behind Mukuro's back, the brunette frowned. "Um... You're kinda tall? I could reach it but err... I can't see it that well and I don't wanna..." He paused. How did one say he was afraid he might give the other a headache like this?
lol that's him XDDmanipulaterDecember 9 2008, 17:00:35 UTC
The manager had glanced over his shoulder, only to realize quickly what Tsuna was trying to ask. Without a word, he sat back down to give the other better access to his hair. He'd felt the mess in his hair and inwardly winced at the thought of getting it undone. No doubt there'd be some pulling, but he'd be able to handle it. He had to deal with it on a daily basis after all.
"Better? And don't worry about pulling too hard. I go through this process almost everyday," he assured in a light tone. If Tsuna was too cautious about hurting him, then they'd probably be here for a while.
"Oh um... I err... thanks for coming. I... really appreciate it. I mean... I didn't expect... you..." he stumbled with the words, placing laptop on the floor, getting ready to send Mukuro off. "If someone confused you, why would you keep him at arm's length? Why don't you just go up and find out what exactly is making you so... troubled?"
Now that sounded logical.
