WHAT: Leo meets his new boss ♥

He hears them whisper, so quietly and discreetly behind his back. One so young, already That Man's private secretary. He hears the envy in their voices, he hears the fear and concern, and he hears snide remarks. And Leo stores them all in a safe little corner in his mind, labeling them with names he glances on shining golden plates on their chests. He bows to them timidly, smiling a little nervously and the woman smiles back at him like that. It's easy to get sympathy. But it's also easy to stir animosity that way.
Nobody likes someone who advances too much, too quickly, after all.
He doesn't care. The smile he wears twitch into a nervous laugh as they joke about his age, before he dismisses himself, because it's almost time. They point him towards the elevator and tell him Top Floor, the door at the end of the hall way. And he obeys, the smile disappears when he steps into the metal confines. His heart beats a little quickly in his chest, but he is calm, even as he approaches the ornate wooden door leading to Byakuran's office. This is just another man. Another heart for him to deceive. Another figure whose fortune is for him to seize. That is all.
He lets a bead of sweat collect on the side of his face and he lets his cheeks flush a light shade of red. And his lips twitch, fingers knocking hesitantly on slick wood.
