Toxteth Cemetery

So having a hyperactive border collie for a housemate means I have to take her on super!power!walks after work each afternoon. I take her to the wide expanses of Sefton Park via a shortcut through Toxteth Cemetery.

Like you, I find cemeteries fascinating. The memorial inscriptions link directly to a past, when the afterlife promised a better existence than the worldly one. Isn't it marvellous how sympathetic we can be to the grief of others we could never know? I can't read a child's gravestone without uttering words of consolation. It certainly makes me feel grateful for modern medical care. In Victorian times, Jenn or I or both of us would not have survived her birth.

Does it end in 58? I lost my previous mobile down an aeroplane toilet (no word of a lie) but I managed to import most contacts because they were connected to the Dark Lord Google Plus.

Yes, it does though it's not on all the time :P Give me the heads-up by email or LJ PM so I'll make sure it's on: that way you'll get a quicker reply.

Visions of Becky's mobile phone falling from a great height and splattering into the sea or smashing onto a road :) I shan't ask how you managed to do that, lol.

I shall do! I may have some free time in the next week or so - I will let you know.

Oh, it was ridiculous how it happened. I was wearing a long cardigan, and as I whirled around to shut the door to the loo, my phone catapulted itself right into the toilet. I blinked in horror and then dived right after it, plunging my hand right up to my elbow in a goddamn septic tank. :c
