I miss my mommy
I've been so busy lately with paper, homework, classes, work, that I haven't been able to visit my mother. I used to visit her every couple of weeks or so. But now I only see her at family functions, such as Thanksgiving dinner or my brother-in-law's birthday party, when she is busy talking with other people and doesn't have a lot of time to spend with me. I feel that these years are precious. Her alzheimer's is stable right now, but this disease progresses quickly at times. I want to spend as much time with her while she can still go out and have fun with me. I've got to catch up with my homework so I can put regular "mommy time" back into my month. I think I'll go phone her now.
