OMG!!

There is a hot, sexy, italian in my bed, and it's not Rick!

In fact, it's none other than my future ex-husband.....

Yep, everyone's favorite (and former) Athenian pizza boy is all grown up, graduated, and decided to come visit me yesterday! It's been great fun, all around! He got here late yesterday afternoon, we jammed in to Janet's All Nite (Don't Stop) as I gave him the 10 minute tour of Statesboro, which included, and was concluded by a trip to Wal-Mart... and yes, I made him aware of the injustice of the Wal-Mart reference material Dweezie! Brandon, too, was perplexed!

After a quick trip over the bypass to see a "missing in action" Bianca Sage, we scurried down to Savannah to see the movie that no one wants to you to see... the strangely popular, and loudly talked about Farenheit 9/11. Honestly, I expected it to be bad (Chad had already implanted the preconcieved notion that it was all bullshit into my thick skull), but it was rather good, I'd say. Not so much because of who it does, or doesn't bash, but because it's like the (non-existant) reference section of Wal-Mart.. with a soundtrack. Many a celebrity made a theatrical cameo, including Britney Spears and Ricky Martin. You just have to go see it... and it's playing at 2 theatres in Savannah. Go, I tell you, go!

Brandon had never been to ClubOne before, so that was our next stop. We saw lots of the people there, including, but not limited to o_ryan, nightlightning, nekoneo, and some others. I didn't really dance until they played that damned Janet Jackson song... so needless to say, I'm nursing a still sore ankle today! Oh Vey!

Brandon and I left about 1:15 because I wanted to run a quick errand before we headed home, so Brandon dozed off in the car, and he awoke to find himself under the Tybee Island Lighthouse. Brandon spent most of his life in the beaches of Italy, and I figured he'd like the chance to revisit that. He was speechless. It was a perfect night... I had towels in the car, and the gorgeous (mostly) full moon loomed over us, like a lazy street lamp. It's luminesonse bouncing off the almost still waters. We cast aside our shoes and strolled along the beach and talked...getting caught up on the craziness that is everyday life.

We headed home, and got here about 5, i think. I'm awake because Sunni had to be at work @ 9, Brandon's gotta be up by 10:30, and Chad has to work @ 11.

In other (more important) news, I was awakened by a random early morning hug! What I nice way to start the day. Thank you.

I'll post more about my trip to Tybee with Rick later... I'm sleepy.
