Wow, what a long day it's been. I am so tired right now it's sickening. It's been a 12 hour non stop day on about 5 hours sleep. Man oh man.
So, my day went like this:
Got up early to go down to the DMV and waited forever.
But.. I got my permit! FINALLY! I passed with a score of 93% *dances*
My picture for it looks horrible though.
Then I went down to the Health Department and waited some more.
Let me just say...that place scares me to death. It's creepy and icky.
I don't know why but passing and having to stand next to the radiation rooms really scared me.
I got my temp health (food handling) card.. And have to go back to watch a movie within the next few days and then they'll send me my real health card in the mail... which I am sure my picture is horrible on that too.
I also had to get a Hep A shot since I didn't have my records with me. That was nothing.. But man do I feel like crap now. Not only do I feel sick, I feel like I got socked in the arm.
After that it was off to HT for orientation and working.
Tomorrow I start trainning at Seattle's Best.
