Who of yours should I jump next, and with whom?

Also Thor & Ashe v.6 9 whatever suitably high number it is now.

Duly noted~ Also I think you should link me to that conversation with Dante. ♥

Yeah, Thor's reaction during all that awkwardness was "Oh no, I must have said something wrong," and his worry came from not knowing how to immediately set it right. Dropping it and moving on obviously would've been the better plan of action, but that's. Not his way. So instead we got that lovely spiral into deeper and deeper levels of awkward and it was lots of fun all around, right? Right.

And I think I remember you saying about their differences in terms of end goals before, too, possibly from the last time we did this. I'm... really not certain where Thor stands with all of that because he hasn't thought about it. He doesn't think much beyond the very basic fact that he thinks Ashe is wonderful and really values her friendship. But he was also utterly at sea after their last big conversation when she covered his mouth--he'd no clue what to make of that. "Did she want me to stop talking about that, or did she want me to stop talking period, or did she ( ... )

It was a long thread, but your point of interest lies here. Which, uh, may be goofed considering your question, derp.

Hahaha, Ashe was surprised with herself, but she was really like STOP TALKING AND THINKING AND DOING BECAUSE I AM JUST A SILLY GIRL, MKAY. And that was all she could think of to silence him. I think that marks the like. . . Second time she's initiated touch with someone in camp.

Well, Thor has always been otherworldly to her, even when she has control over magicks and what not. . . There's a keen difference from immortality and being a powerful hume. Everyone in the game is very quick to point out that she is a child to them, but she tends to retaliate on that point! With Thor. . . She doesn't really care that much. People can be another race, and Ashe could give a care. Which is what Thor kind of is! He's not a god or anything like that, but he's a person who happens to be from this race that doesn't really die. The Occurian played at God, and got their hand stuck, so to speak. Thor is smart enough to learn not to ( ... )

It wasn't anything particularly formal or special, really... This is an old essay I wrote about Thor and godhood, but it basically sums up that even among gods, Thor is considered super--he has powers beyond what's normal even for Asgardians. In his case, those powers are better physical abilities and the power to control the weather. God of Thunder is just a title that reflects that he has those special powers--it doesn't give him any new ones ( ... )

I'm glad you enjoyed the rambling--when I've got a little less schoolwork, I'll be sure to enjoy the links! It does sound like a really interesting kind of canon.

Hrm... Not at first, but eventually yes. There was something bothering him, something niggling in the back of his mind, like he'd forgotten and should remember. Later on, I think--well after the pancake party was over, and probably when he was in the midst of doing something entirely unrelated, the pieces just got jostled into the right configuration and he realized why she seemed so familiar. I don't know that he'll bring it up, though, since she didn't and Thor tries to be cautious with other people's... mm, secrets and information and such.

... this is just because I'm lame and forgot and can't think of another question right at this moment--how many brothers did Ashe have, again?

It's said that she had eight in one of the guidebooks, supposedly. I play that some of the older ones died in battle, while the younger ones were taken by the plague that ran through Rabanstre. Of course, a few died in childbirth, but fanon tends to run that children aren't really named until they're certain that the child will survive infancy. So, there could possibly be more that just didn't survive the night, so to speak. I can never place what happened to the eighth, or when he died even, however. At the time, it would have been unwise to let him go too far, but Ashe and Rasler's wedding smacks of needing to join two smaller countries with Archadia looming. . . Don't get me started on what could have been happening with her mother. Sob, it's all written down in Ultimania, but no one will translate the walls and walls of text.

And we're good to stop here. ♥

... whoops.

Look, it's only Valhalla. He's just going to sit around and wait for the end of the world. While enjoying endless feasting and fighting and being waited on by Valkyries.

It's not that nice.

... well, crap.

But look, again, he's still dead. It's not Thor's fault there just happens to be an afterlife right next door to where he lives, or that said afterlife is hiring.
