Six Words

There's a girl at work who forwards everything. Those "Microsoft will pay you if you forward" things, bad jokes, obvious hoaxes, everything. This morning, I received an email from her with the subject "The power of one sentence."

My first thought? "Don't you think she looks tired?"

Turns out the sentence was actually "God is going to shift things around for you today and let things work in your favor." Boy, was I disappointed.

In other news...
Last week, Kaci invited me over to join her coven for their Samhain ritual. It was her first ritual as priestess of the coven, after Melissa stepped aside, so she was really nervous. It was a pretty good ceremony, and I'm pretty sure the spell we did has started working for me, but the kicker came beforehand when she invited me to join the coven. I was floored that she'd invite me in. I love her to death, and of course I said yes. So at Yule I may be a full-fledged member of the coven. Woo hoo!

And since I said yes, I decided I needed a better wardrobe for rituals than black slacks and a black t-shirt. I went after-Halloween shopping and picked up this dress for half price. It needs to be hemmed because I'm so short, and/or I need some boots to wear with it, but even though it's a cheap Halloween costume, I really like it. Plus, it's partly green, and I love wearing green. So now, I need to go boot shopping. If only I had money and easy to fit feet.
