short, random ramble.
I just got the notion in my head to come here and update this thing. It's been a while, I'll admit, and I haven't said much. Today was day one of two where I start work at five in the bloody morning. Sheer insanity is what that's called!
I'm glad it's done for today and tonight I'm hoping to get better sleep for tomorrow's five a.m shift. I think I'll do better this time since I can drink coffee tomorrow and since I did the five a.m. shift *today* I'll be more used to it tomorrow....or at least i hope so.
Tonight Sam made a lovely dinner for us. Stir-fried rice, onions, mushrooms, and shrimp in soy/teriyaki sauce. Normally I'm not even that fond of shrimp but he made them palatable. Thank-you, Sam!
I was glad to find out that my little sister heeded my invitation to livejournal and now has an account here. I only hope she'll have time to bother writing in it so we can more easily comment back and forth through this forum.
