British Humour

So the other night, my flatmates and I caught this show on television. I think it was called, "Britain's Got The Pop Factor And Possibly A New Celebrity Jesus Christ Soapstar Superstar Strictly On Ice"

Anyway, it was clearly a parody of all the reality show competitions and it was really funny. We were watching the finale, so it was down to the final two acts: Geraldine, a big fat girl played by a male comedian, and Two Up Two Down, a group consisting of two sisters in wheelchairs and their able-bodied husbands.

I mean, if that premise isn't funny enough, the performances were AMAZING. Check out Geraldine's final medley:

I don't care what you say, but going that transition from "Free Nelson Mandela" to "Umbrella" ("Freeeeeee Nelson Mandela, ella, ella, ay, ay, ay...") was comic gold. I laughed SO hard.

There was another part where they were doing duets with other celebrities and Geraldine's duet was "Mah Nà Mah Nà." And during the duet with Two Up Two Down, one of the girls fell off her chair. So funny!

Maybe I should start watching more British television, because this shit was bananas!
