I'm amazing.
I know the title of this post is a little ridiculous. But, not nearly as ridiculous as this episode of Wonder Woman that I'm watching right now. Wonder Woman calls an emergency meeting with the U.N.? Seriously, how did people buy this series?
Anyway, I am really enjoying my new job. However, I have to admit that when my boss was talking to a co-worker yesterday I just felt like a total moron. They were talking about how far they run and whatever, and my boss said, "Erik, you should run with us sometime!" No way, dude. My boss said that he runs 30 miles every Sunday. What? Are you serious? When I told him that was ridiculous, he said, "Well, I do it slowly! It takes me four or fives hours to do it!" I should hope so!
When he asked me what the longest I'd run was I replied shyly, "13." I shouldn't have asked him how many was his longest run. Let's just say it was over a hundred.
So yeah, today I got down to business and did a 15 mile run. 15 miles! It took me an hour and twenty minutes which is 9:20 per mile. And you know what? I'm fucking proud of myself! I ran 15 miles, bitches! 15 miles without walking once. I'm amazing!
