tidying has eaten my life...
I really did mean to finish that meme this week but my "spring" cleaning seems to have taken up all my time. And it's not even finished yet. I'm not going to set a deadline this time. I'll finish it eventually, I just don't know when that will be.
Really, I'm just here procrastinating because Lurkers at Sunlight's Edge and The Resurrection of Mars aren't out yet. It was meant to be happening last night but they're having technical issues. I wasn't too bothered until I stupidly listened to the latest podcast. There was a clip from The Resurrection of Mars which has got me craving the rest of it. I've been obsessively refreshing my account for hours but nothing's come up yet. It was getting depressing. So I'm writing this as a distraction. Not sure what I'm going to say but I'm sure I'll think of something...
Ah, got it. I'm going to give blood for the first time tomorrow. I've always wanted to but I was a bit nervous. My parents have done it for years and I was always worried that I'd go along, sit in the queue with them being all proud of me and then I'd get turned down for being anemic or something and disappoint them. Stupid really. But we've spoken about it a bit in the last couple of months and I've decided to give it a go. Should be ok; I'm fine with needles and if I get turned down, well, it's no big deal. Actually, I'm weirdly starting to look forward to going.
