Right, Day Seven.

Day 07 - Your Favourite Piece of Music

I'm struggling again (there's a surprise). I really enjoy Murray Gold's music. I had the soundtrack cds on repeat when I was revising for my uni exams and they got me through some bad nights when I was on the verge of hurling the books out of the window. Picking a favourite is impossible but I've narrowed it down to five.

• Love Don't Roam: My favourite of the songs from the soundtrack. Just makes me want to get up and dance.
  
• This is Gallifrey: Such a beautiful piece. Hearing it performed at the Proms, accompanying the regeneration scenes of every Doctor, was wonderful.
  
• Donna's Theme/A Noble Girl About Town: My favourite of the companions' themes. It just seems to fit Donna's personality. This theme was one of the reasons I was so excited about her coming back (I wish I was joking about that!) and when I heard it in Partners in Crime I was almost bouncing in my seat.
  
• A Dazzling End: Probably my favourite piece from Series 4. Absolutely stunning.
  
• I am the Doctor: My favourite piece from Series 5. Absolutely brilliant. Oh, and the basis for that song I recommended yesterday.


I have channels other than BBC2! I found my remote last night. Unfortunately, my mum's telly is now picking up TeleG, ITV3 and not a lot else. So, that'll be my job for the rest of the day.
