So, Big Finish.

1. Listened to Project: Twilight and Project: Lazarus so I'm ready for Project: Destiny. Cried at the end of part two of Lazarus which, considering I was doing the dishes at the time, made me feel a bit stupid.
   
2. Legend of the Cybermen. One of the most mental things I have ever heard. Let's see, it features Alice (in Wonderland) and Dracula commanding an army of fictional characters, a cyber-Oliver Twist, cybernised mermaids, jet-powered valkyries and Rob Roy gunning down Cybermen. Also the Cybermen start warping reality, leading to the following moments of insanity: 1) Jamie and Rob narrating their actions in rhyme, to the tune of Scotland the Brave 2) The Doctor suddenly turning into the White Rabbit and 3) Jamie finding himself in a recording booth being directed by Nick Briggs, who then turned into a Cyberman! It's completely crazy and I kind of love it.
   
3. Cobwebs/The Whispering Forest. It's like Tegan and Turlough never left. Cannot wait for The Cradle of the Snake.
   
4. Situation Vacant/Nevermore. Really enjoying the new series. I'm really starting to like the new companion I wasn't that keen on Juliet, but Tamsin's pretty good. Totally different from Charley and Lucie; much as I love them, I think that's a good thing. I re-listened to Situation Vacant as soon as I finished it and with hindsight, it was easy to see she was putting on an act. Talking like an Apprentice contestant, saying what she thought he'd want to hear. In the second episode, after she'd been eliminated, she seemed different already. By the time I'd finished, I was pretty sure she was the right choice. Nevermore settled it. Again, re-listened almost immediately. Loved it.
   
5. Relative Dimensions. I was hoping we'd get a sequel to An Earthly Child. I am so excited for this I can't even speak about it.

Early start tomorrow. Helping out with the cake stall. Spent most of last night elbow deep in cookie dough. Was quite good fun actually. A rare occasion when I felt confident in the kitchen. This confidence disappeared tonight when I managed to get tomato sauce everywhere while heating up some baked beans. I'm just not cut out for cookery.
